Amberlee Cobler, DVM (Owner)
Dr. Amberlee Cobler was raised on her family farm in Morgan County, Kentucky, completed her undergraduate studies at Morehead State University, and is a 2013 graduate of the Auburn University College of Veterinary Medicine. From an early age, Dr. Cobler dreamed of owning a veterinary practice that provides high-quality, affordable care to pets in rural and central Kentucky.
After gaining valuable experience over three years as a small animal relief veterinarian and with Banfield Pet Hospital, she was ready to begin a new chapter in her career. In the summer of 2016, she founded Pet Wellness On Wheels, a mobile veterinary practice dedicated to serving communities throughout Central and Eastern Kentucky.
Today, Dr. Cobler is proud to be established in Cynthiana, where she continues to care for the small animal veterinary needs of the community. She and her husband, John, have three wonderful children who bring joy and purpose to their lives. Their home is also shared with a lively mix of animals, including several dogs and cats, a bird, and a snake.
Marley Lowe, MBA (Practice Manager)
Marley has spent almost two decades in the veterinary field, building her career from volunteering as a tech assistant/kennel tech to nursing, into specialties and now management. She holds a bachelor’s degree in biology from the University of Kentucky and an MBA from Western Governors University, combining her passion for science with leadership in animal care.
Outside of work, Marley’s life revolves around her animals: two Belgian Malinois – Justice and Phoenix, four cats, a python, a 75-gal. freshwater fish tank, and her chickens. She actively trains and competes with Phoenix in AKC conformation and performance sports, including scent work, dock diving, and is exploring Mondioring. Marley and her husband, Bryan, enjoy spending their free time outdoors, as well as traveling and attending concerts.
Kaylee
Kaylee Brooke is a Harrison County native and will graduate in 2025 from Georgetown College, with a degree in Biology. She plans to further her education beyond Georgetown College, pursuing a degree in Veterinary Medicine. Kaylee’s love for animals began at a young age while growing up on her family’s beef cattle farm. Her best friends are four-legged, a Corgi name Luna and an Australian Shepherd named Champ. Kaylee has gained tremendous hands-on experience while working at Pet Wellness in Cynthiana, since 2021.
Erin
Erin is a Harrison County native with a deep love for children and animals. Erin and her husband Aaron have 3 wonderful children and reside with their three pit-bulls, Brewski, Maggie and Ziva. They also have two indoor cats, Salem and Dudley, as well as various outside cats. Erin has worked with our clinic for over 4 years and also has a background in shelter medicine and management. She is dedicated to providing excellent and compassionate care to all of our patients.
Krista
Krista is a Bourbon County native and has been working in the veterinary field for 20 years now. She first started at a clinic in Paris and worked there for eight years and then moved to Best Pets in 2013. After working there for 11 years, she has recently moved to our Pet Wellness office to be closer to home. She has always had a love for animals and is dedicated to providing the best customer service to our clients and their pets. She resides in Cynthiana with her husband Shannon and their three cats, Drogo, Hope, Noodles and a red ear slider named K.K. They have one grown son, Clayton, who lives in Bowling Green with his wife Alissa. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with family, friends, traveling and working in her flower beds at home.
Briana
Briana, Bri, has lived in Cynthiana her entire life and is a graduate of Harrison County High School. She has worked at Pet Wellness since 2023, where she has been able to fully explore and express her passion for animals. Her love for animal care led her into the field and continues to inspire her every day. Bri is deeply committed to caring for animals and values the opportunity to learn and grow through her experiences. She is grateful to be doing work that she truly loves and finds meaningful.
Amille
Amille began her veterinary career in the fall of 2024, having known since childhood that veterinary medicine was her passion. She earned her bachelor’s degree in biology from Kentucky State University and recently completed her two-year Veterinary Technician program at MedQuest College, where she received her Associate of Applied Science degree.
Amille’s career goal is to specialize in surgery or dentistry, and she is also passionate about client education and helping pet owners better understand their pets’ care. Outside of work, Amille enjoys shopping, spending time with her family, and hanging out with her dog, Apollo.
Jadyn
Jadyn Shaw is a recent graduate of MedQuest College and is currently working toward becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician. Her passion for animals began at a young age, growing up surrounded by a variety of pets.
Jadyn enjoys being part of a team that provides compassionate care to patients and their families. Outside of work, she stays busy with her two dogs, who keep her active and entertained.
