What Diseases Does DA2PP Protect Against?

Why We Recommend DA2PP & When It Is Given
Because these diseases are widespread, highly contagious, and in some cases life-threatening, DA2PP is recommended for virtually every dog. Routine vaccination has made diseases such as distemper and infectious hepatitis far less common than they once were.
DA2PP vaccination typically begins when puppies are 6 to 8 weeks of age, followed by a series of boosters every 3 to 4 weeks until approximately 16 weeks of age. Adult dogs receive booster vaccinations based on their age, previous vaccination history, lifestyle, and current AAHA recommendations.
